gw2slop - Guild Wars 2 trading post bot (test release)

Thanks for testing! Please read this once before your first run.


WHAT YOU NEED
-------------
- Windows 10 or 11.
- Guild Wars 2 in ENGLISH (launcher settings). The bot searches items by
  their English names.
- In the game: Options > General Options > Interface Size: Normal.
  If Windows display scaling is above 100%, also untick "Use DPI Scaling"
  in Options > Graphics.
- Start the game and the bot the same way: both normally, or both
  "as administrator". Mixing them stops the bot's clicks reaching the game.
- A GW2 API key (see step 3).


FIRST RUN
---------
1. Unzip the whole gw2slop folder somewhere you can write to (for example
   Documents). Keep every file and folder together - the bot needs them all,
   including the "tesseract" folder (its text reader).

2. Start gw2slop.exe. The licence window opens:
   - Type your name (and your Discord, so I can reach you) and click
     "Request licence".
   - Wait. Once I approve it, the window unlocks by itself - leave it open.
   - If I send you a licence FILE instead, click "Load licence file..." and
     pick it.
   Then click Continue.

3. In the main window, paste your GW2 API key and press Save.
   Make one at https://account.arena.net/applications with these
   permissions ticked: account, inventories, characters, tradingpost, wallet.
   (The key can only read: it can not spend your gold or move items.)

4. Optional: Gold reserve (gold the bot never spends, default 20g) and
   Run time (hours, 0 = until stopped). Press Save.

5. In the game, stand next to a Black Lion Trading Company NPC, open the
   trading post, and leave the game window visible (don't cover it).

6. Press Start (or F8). Hands off the mouse and keyboard while it runs.


CONTROLS
--------
- Start  F8      Pause/Resume  F6      Stop  F7
  (Change keys on the main window to pick others.)
- To use the PC or play, press Pause or Stop first.
- Closing the window also stops the bot.


GOOD TO KNOW
------------
- Leave "Advanced settings" OFF unless you know what you are changing:
  the default settings are the tested ones.
- The bot keeps a small amount of its own data next to the exe (data\
  folder: its trade record, logs and what it learns on YOUR account).
  It stays on your PC; nothing is sent to anyone except the licence check.
- To update to a new version, copy your data\ folder, config.json and
  license.key into the new folder.

Known issue in this version:
- Rarely, the game stops reacting to the bot's clicks (a tooltip stays
  frozen, nothing happens). The bot then just idles. If the activity list
  stops showing new orders for a long time, press Stop, click once in
  the game yourself, and press Start again.


PROBLEMS?
---------
Send me your newest log from data\logs\ (one file per run) and tell me
what you saw. The log shows what the bot did - it contains your item
names and gold amounts but no passwords and no API key.
